New - Optima Hybrid Rugby Ball

In development for over 3 years, we are proud to offer the Ram Rugby – Optima – Hybrid Ball. The in-seam valve gives the flight of a match ball. Our patent pending rubber compound combined with 3D grip gives unrivalled durability. The Optima is a true Hybrid ball, suitable for training at all levels and for matches at lower levels and juniors. Make the ball you train with closer to the ball you play with.

The valve position makes a big difference to ball flight. Traditionally only match balls have the valve in the seam, and now the Optima Hybrid does too.

The advanced rubber composition and 3D dot grip deliver exceptional durability, and the dense pattern of raised dots gives a tactile grip you notice immediately, with excellent handling in all weather conditions.

COLOUR-CODE YOUR TRAINING

We've given each core size its own colour, making it easier for coaches running multiple age groups to quickly identify the right balls:

• Size 5 – Navy
• Size 4 – Maroon
• Size 3 – Jade
