This timely manual offers amateur coaches and rugby parents a practical guide to all aspects of the game including more than 100 drill and games covering all the basics. Everything You Need to Know for Coaching Rugby is designed to help build players’ techniques, skills and understanding of the whole game in two parts. First, the basics of working with players in a safe and rewarding environment, and second, the training activities and game situations for a coach to use with any age group. In the foreword, Sir Clive Woodward, the World Cup winning former England rugby manager says newcomers to the game who plan to coach have much to learn: “This commendable manual addresses in detail the questions of what to coach and, most importantly, how to coach.”
