Ram Rugby Skill Camps - Course Structure
Monday - 9.30am to 4pm
Registration will be followed by the daily warm up.
Monday is a day focused on Passing the day will be taken by Andy Gomarsall. Rugby is built around being able to pass- whether you are a forward or a back! Andy will undoubtedly improve the passing of all players!
Tuesday - 10am to 4pm
Tuesday is a day focused on Speed and Power, the day will be taken by Margott Wells. Regardless of your position the faster and more powerful you are the better you will be able to play the game. Participants will finish the day faster and much more knowledgeable on the training that will help them improve their speed, power and fitness in the future!
Wednesday - 10am to 4pm
Wednesday is focused on tackling and defence. The day will be taken by Chris Sheasby. Winning games is often down to having the best defence! Chris will work on technique of tackling as well as other aspects of defence such as communication and positioning.
Thursday - 10am to 4pm
Thursday is a day focused on attacking. The day will be taken by Phil Greening. To most attacking is seen as the most exciting part of the game! Phil Greening will help to improve side steps, teach the hit and spin and work on lines of running and timing of runs as well as support play. There is no doubt you will score more tries following this session
Friday - 10am to 3pm
A competition will be organised at all levels and allow the participants to put into practice what they have learnt during the week.
The day will finish with an awards ceremony where each player will also gain a certificate of achievement.
Certificates will be presented by Andy Gomarsall and special guests!
