Ram Rugby Photographic Competition

Attention all budding rugby photographers! Ram Rugby have teamed up with our friends at International Rugby News to launch a competition to find some of the best amateur rugby photography in the business.

We want you to send us your snaps that capture the essence of this great game at grassroots level, covering every aspect from scrums, lineouts and big tackles to celebrations, funny moments and stunning action.

The best pictures will be used by Ram for their rugby catalogue, year planner and website and posted on our own brand new gallery at www.internationalrugbynews.co.uk .

Every photographer that has a picture used by RAM will win a Ram International match ball worth £35. In addition, the winning photograph in each of the categories below will win the photographer a year‘s subscription of International Rugby News plus a sports bag.

Entries should capture one of the following:

1. A grassroots rugby action shot
2. A Ram ball in use
3. Any Ram branded item (clothing, training equipment)
4. A superb try
5. A great tackle
6. A magnificent kick
7. A winning team or individual
8. A losing team or individual
9. A great pass
10. The best boy in action
11. The best girl in action
12. Behind the scenes

Colour transparencies or colour prints preferred although a few B/W prints will be considered (NO negatives). Each photograph to be clearly marked with heading and all photos used will have the photographers name acknowledged, or email to: photos@ramrugby.co.uk

REMEMBER Caption each photograph clearly with the relevant heading and send it together with your name and address to: Ram International, Ram House, Chalky Lane, Chessington, Surrey KT9 2NF

Entries can only be returned if you enclose a stamped addressed envelope ­ A4 if you would like a FREE copy of Ram’s 2008/9 Year Planner.

The competition judges will be the Executive Directors of Ram International Ltd who reserve the right to use any submitted photographs. All entries are assumed to be the copyright of the sender and we accept no liability for infringement of copyright. Whilst all due care will be taken of entries, the publishers cannot be held responsible for any losses or damage to photographs or transparencies. The decision of the Directors is final and no correspondence relating to the competition will be entered into.
