The Herman Digital Trainer is able to measure the power of tackles against tackle bags, contact pads, shield and punch pads. By inserting the wireless sensor inside the bag or shield you are able to get instant feedback on the power which is being delivered to the bag. Coaches can now show the players instant results and scoring which is displayed on Herman’s LCD screen. The better the technique and power the higher the score.
Use the “best shot” mode and Herman will rank each tackle against the best for that session or against the previous tackle
Use the “speed shot” mode and Herman will count down at random from 1-3 seconds and measure the speed and power of a tackle giving reaction time of the player, in real time on the playing field.
“Speed shot” is equally useful for passing practise, again the players can pass into a fixed target with the sensor attached or to another player. Herman will measure their reaction time and power, plus will tell you if you have improved or not.
Herman has a built in “workout” mode for tackles and a number of different targets giving players the ability to monitor their workouts.
